Touching Lives in TX & OK

Dear friends and Partners

We had an awesome time the last two weeks in TX and OK.

On July 21-24 we ministered at The Gathering at Midland and had an awesome time ministering to children and families in Midland, TX. During this 4 day event we saw 26 people born again and many lives touched by God.

On July 28-31 we ministered at the Southwest OK district Nazarene kids camp in Tishomingo, OK. During the 4 days of camp we saw 68 children come forward to be born again and we also saw God move mightily and touch many life's of children and adults attending camp. During several services we saw many children on their faces going deeper with God and surrendering their life to Him.

Outpouring of Gods Love in NC & MN

 Dear Friends & Partners:

We had an awesome 2 weeks ministering in NC and MN.

The week of July 8-12 we ministered at a Camp in Blowing Rock, NC and saw an outpouring of God's love on all that attended. Almost the entire camp was on their faces worshiping God and experiencing his love and presence several times during the week.

During the week of July 15-18 we ministers in Fergus Falls, MN and saw over 100 people come forward to be born again including several parents. It was a powerful week spiritually in this small community. Many children attending were from the community and other churches that do not teach salvation. We saw lives touched, people delivered from chains of bondage, and encouraged to start growing spiritually.

The Jubilee Gang came to the Naz in Fergus Falls, MN for four nights of Summer Slam for kids ages 5-12.  It was a great week for the Kingdom of God as 100 people came forward to be born again----two of them being adult workers/parents of the kids attending!  One mother/worker was the first one to come forward to pray one night after her two adopted children were born again a few nights before.  There was much spiritual warfare going on with this particular family prior to Summer Slam and especially prior to the mother getting saved.  That evening right before we started Jerry was able to powerfully pray for this woman to rebuke the work of the enemy in her life.  She was saved that evening.  She now says she is overflowing with peace, joy, hope, strength and too many other things she can't even put into words!  This is what it's all about!  The 170+ kids who came throughout the week loved every aspect of the Jubilee Gang's ministry and they listened better than I have ever seen before!  We had feedback from our workers on how clear the explanation of being born again was each night and how carefully Jerry handled the altar call.  Our workers liked that it was fun yet more challenging for the kids spiritually than our normal VBS's that we have done in the past.  I cannot  say enough good about Jerry and his wife Candy and the work they do to reach kids and their families for Christ.  The only regret I had was making this solely a kids event and not a family event.  Parents really need to be saved too as so many don't know Him yet they are three to four times more influential on their children than even the church.  Think of how many kids we will hold on to in the church if we also have their parents!

Awesome week of ministry in CT

Dear Friends and Partners:

We just finished an awesome week of ministry (June 26-July 2) at 2 churches in CT. During these 2 events we saw 43 people born again. Our granddaughter Aeva got to go with us on this trip and responded to an invitation to be born again during one of these events. I had the privileged of leading her to Jesus. I almost cried while we were praying. (See Pic Below)

After these 2 events we came home to celebrate my birthday on July 4th with a few friends and family. Its very rare that I am home for my birthday. Usually we are ministering at a Camp or church somewhere across America. It was nice to be able to be home this year for a few days. Next week we will be ministering at a camp in Blowing Rock, NC, then we head to MN, TX, OK, LA, & MS during the months of July and Aug.

The map below shows where we have been just in the last 3 weeks. During this time frame we have traveled 4100 miles.We ministered in 5 churches in the following cities Bakersfield, CA - Yuba City, CA - Brousard, LA - Glastonbury, CT - Cheshire, CT, and spent over well over $2000 on gas and seen over 250 people born again!

213 People Born Again in CA & Louisiana

Dear Friends and Partners: 

We are having a blessed and fruitful summer tour season so far this year. During the 2weeks of June 9-20 we ministered in 2 churches in CA and a camp in Louisiana. During these 3 events we saw over 213 people come forward to be born again.

Three of the children that came forward in Yuba City, CA were brought by a church member. Their father is a Muslim missionary in the CA prison system. We continue to pray for these children that God will continue to work in their lives and in the lives of their Family.

During the next 2 weeks we will be ministering in 2 churches in CT. and a Camp in SC.

82 people born again in WV & NM

Dear Friends and Partners: 

Our summer tour is well on its way. In the week of May 29th - June 7th. We have ministered in 3 churches. One in Lewisburg, WV and two in NM. During these 3 events we saw 82 people born again. 

This week we will be ministering in Bakersfield, CA and Yuba City, CA then we drive 33 hours to Lafayette, LA for a week of Kids Camp then its onward to CT where we will be ministering at 2 churches.

Today we start our 2013 summer tour season. We will be on the road for the most of 3 months again this year ministering to children and families across America.

We will be traveling over 13,281 Miles in 3 months.

We still have several fall and winter dates available. If you are interested in scheduling The Jubilee Gang in your area contact us ASAP to ensure the date you are looking at.

We have 2 new programs that we will be inserting in the mix periodically this year.

The first is called, "What is Truth". In this program we talk about how the bible must be our foundation for "TRUTH" and the importance of having a biblical world view.

The 2nd new program that we will be using this year is called, "Fishers of Men" and is about evangelism. This program will be replacing our R.O.C.K.s program that we have used for several years. In this program we will talk about how Jesus said that if we follow him he would make us "FISHERS OF MEN"

Children's Ministry or Entertainment?

Children's Ministry or Entertainment?

Over the years we have seen new ideas incorporated into children’s ministry such as; games, multi media, and technology at the expense of watering down the gospel message.

We use most of these methods during our Jubilee Gang events. However, the purpose of our events are not to just entertain and wow the children, but to lay a firm foundation from the word of God that they can build upon to strengthen their faith in Jesus.

Our Goal as the Jubilee Gang is to see as many men, woman, boys, and girls make a legitimate decision to be born again. To many time we have seen people herded to the altar to be saved without fully understanding what is happening to them.

True faith comes from the word of God, The Bible. Without teaching the bible in a way that people can understand they will not have faith to receive what is being offered to them.

If we play games for an hour, wow our audiences with multiple special effects and shout a few scriptures, then how do we expect them to be able to make a legitimate decision to follow Jesus?

We encourage people to use all these methods to teach, but the message cannot get lost in the methods. The word of God needs to always come first in everything we do and all these methods are used to reinforce the message.

By all means use all the new methods the world has to offer to make your lessons the more exciting. Make your Children’s Church the most exciting, spectacular, experience possible for children but, don’t replace sound biblical teaching and anointing with all fun and games. Ask yourself, do I want to have a service or a circus?

Children can get entertained by the world, play video games and hang out with their friends 166 hours per week. Why do we feel we need to duplicate that at church for the 2 hours per week we have them. We as the church have something different to give them. We have the thing they are lacking all week. lets give them more of God, help them grow in the word of God, help them to encounter God, and become more like God.



I'm not against using technology and modern methods of teaching & worship. I use them all. However its all about God. not about the lighting, media & fun and games. we use all that to re enforce what we are teaching. its not the main attraction. God is! If we strip all the stuff away are we left with anything of substance. I can take away all the stuff from our Jubilee Gang programs and still have a message that is relative and challenging to all ages and see life's changed by God and people encountering God.

We must stay relevant to reach this generation. The message never changes, but the method must change. Games, multi media, lighting effects, and video are all very effective ways to get the message across. But if they replace sound biblical teaching and anointing we will produce a generation of fluffy Christians with no spiritual backbone.

JG Missouri Update: 84 people born again!

Dear Friends and Partners;

We had an amazing week ministering at 2 churches and a Christian School in Missouri. On April 24-26 we ministered at Grace Fellowship Family Worship Center in Marble Hill, MO. We saw God bless us with his presence during a time of surrendering our will to his and desiring to go deeper in our relationship with him on the last night of the event. During this 3 day event we also saw around 56 people born again.

On Sunday April 28th Jerry ministered to the adults at Sunrise Bible Church in Sunrise Beach, MO then we did a Jubilee Gang event on Sunday night in their christian school gym and saw 11 children born again. On Monday morning we ministered during a christian school assembly and saw 18 children come forward to be born again.

We got to take our granddaughter Aeva on this short trip. She made her JG debut in Marble Hill, MO by singing Jesus Love Me! We have included a video of this below.

So far this year we have seen over 363 people born again during our events across America!

Spring tour Update; 264 people born again!

We had an awesome Spring tour of the U.S. 

From March 17 - April 17 we traveled 7,540 miles
and saw 264 people born again! PTL!!!

We started out in Circleville, OH at Circleville Church of the Nazarene where we ministered to the children during 5 services for their Tragedy to Triumph conference and 2 christian school chapel services. During this event we saw over 83 different children born again.

Then we headed west toward Denver, CO where we were going to minister at Word of Life Christian Center on Palm Sunday when we ran into one of the spring snow storms of 2013. I-70 was shut down from Denver back into KS for over 24 hours and all roads into Denver were closed which caused us to have to cancel our event in Denver.

After our fun time trying to get into Denver we headed south to Tucson, AZ to visit family for a few days in between events. Easter weekend we ministered in Visalia, CA at Visalia First Assembly for 4 services one Saturday evening and 3 Sunday morning. Each service had a different set of children attending. During this event we saw 135 different children born again.

After an awesome weekend of ministry in Visalia, CA we headed North to WA State where we visited family and ministered at 2 Churches. Jerry ministered in 3 adult Sunday AM  services on April 7th at Covenant Church in Spokane, WA then we did a Jubilee Gang event at Covenant Christian School that evening where we saw 12 people come forward to be born again.

On Tuesday April 9th we ministered at Covenant Church in Moses Lake, WA and saw 30 children and 2 adults come forward to be born again.

Our trip back across the top of the country was met with several Spring snow storms, some of which were blizzard conditions. However, we are now back home safe and ready to head to MO to minister at 2 churches. We will be ministering at Grace Fellowship Family Worship Center in  Marble Hill, MO on April 24-26 and at  Sunrise Bible Church in Sunrise Beach, MO on Sunday April 28th.
